aden + anais Swaddling Muslin Blankets Review and Giveaway {Ends 10/15}

When Gabriel was born, swaddling was the only way that he would sleep. He was so different from Gracie because Gracie hated to be swaddled but he loved it. Swaddling blankets have definitely been a mainstay in our home! Sleep is important around here!

When I was introduced to aden + anais, I really didn't think much of it. There are a lot of swaddling blanket companies out there and most seem to be pretty much the same.

When I received the aden + anais Dino's single swaddling wrap, I was immediately impressed with the pouch that it was placed in. I love this little pouch because you can store the swaddling blanket in it when you are not using it. It is the same design as the blanket so I know exactly what is in there. (I have this bad habit of not remembering what is in certain bags.)

The next thing I noticed when I pulled this blanket out was how large it was! I personally have never seen a swaddling blanket this large. I LOVE this feature! Gabriel is already getting so much bigger than most swaddling blankets so having one that is larger is perfect.

I also love the simple designs on the blankets. They are not overdone but very appealing to the eye. They are also extremely lightweight and perfect for a warmer climate. I used this during 80 degree weather and Gabriel stayed perfectly cool underneath.

I immediately put this blanket to use as cover to keep the sun off of Gabriel as we were on our way to the park when I received the package. It soon afterward became a burp cloth because I didn't have anything else on hand.

It is great because this blanket can be used for so many different things! It is currently being used as playpen sheet. Since it is a larger blanket it works perfect. This would also be great in colder areas during the winter as a quick carseat cover when going back and forth in the bitter cold from the house to the car.

Surprisingly, I pulled this blanket out of the dryer today and it was softer than ever! How this already soft blanket could get softer, I have NO idea but I love it!

You can purchase aden + anais at your local baby store as well as Target and online at aden + anais. A set of four blankets is $44 at aden + anais. You can find a set of four at Target for $29 but I was told that these are made with a slightly less quality muslin cotton.

Aden + anais
has been so kind as to give one of my readers their choice of a single muslin swaddling wrap.
